Welcome to the Northampton Circuit of The Methodist Church
Within this site you will find information about the Methodist Church in Northampton and the surrounding area. We hope that you will find these pages useful, and we warmly invite you to join us for worship at any of our churches.
The Northampton Circuit operates a Team Ministry. The Circuit Leadership Team, ministers and lay representatives are jointly responsible for overseeing the life of the Methodist churches.
The ordained Ministers meet weekly to share responsibility for the life of the circuit. In addition individual ministers have pastoral responsibility for groups of churches – these are:
- 3 Town Centre Churches
- (Kingsley Park, Park Avenue and Queensgrove),
- 4 Village Churches
- (Astcote, Great Billing, Harpole and Roade)
- 3 Community Churches
- (Kingsthorpe, St Andrews and Towcester Road).
The Emmanuel Group of Churches, a Local Ecumenical Partnership, also forms part of our circuit.
The Northampton Circuit operates a safeguarding policy for children and vulnerable adults.

This is a significant and poignant week as it marks the first anniversary of Worship at Home.
This Sunday’s Worship at Home will be our 59th service as there have been a few extras during the year. You might like to visit our Worship at Home index page and scroll down to reflect on the past year.
A total of 95 videos have been produced as some services have included more than one.
The videos have had a total of 10,500 views, with a total viewing time of 650 hours, that’s almost 27 days solid!
Thank you to everyone that has produced video messages throughout the year, compiled the weekly sheets and helped to distribute them.
Our Methodist Homestead
