Great Billing Methodist Church is flourishing even though it is small. We have ten members but are also joined by adherents and people from other churches who appreciate the variety of our evening services.
Both the chapel and the adjoining well-equipped kitchen and fellowship room, are regularly used by various groups from the circuit, parish and wider community.
As part of the Billing Covenanted Churches Together (BCCT), we share services and activities at different times of the year with our ecumenical partners, such as “Scones of Praise” at All Saints, Little Billing, a reflective Lent Morning at the Chapel and Holy Week services. We also join together for social events.
In addition to services held each Sunday, there are Circuit Reflective Mornings on the first Tuesday of every month from 10.30am – 12 noon. These cover a wide variety of subjects and always include a time for quiet reflection.
PRAYER BREAKFASTS 8.30 – 9.30 a.m.
Third Tuesday each month
8.30 a.m. A quiet, structured time of prayer for our world, our community, our churches and ourselves.
9.00 a.m. A light breakfast of fruit juice, cereal and toast.
There is also a House Group and social events such as Fish & Chip lunches, Coffee Mornings and Book Sales.
